Our Chef

Chindi Varadarajulu, the heart behind Tharavaadu Tales, is passionate about traditional recipes, bold authentic flavours, and clean, preservative-free cooking. Originally from Singapore and later based in Vancouver, Chindi brought her global palate to Chennai — along with a craving for her breakfast favourites: American coffee and buttery croissants. So, she built a place that served both — and so much more. With over 25 years in the restaurant industry, Chindi brings creativity, warmth, and adventure to every dish that leaves the kitchen.
